Cheerleading

At the beginning of 2008, British Gymnastics and the United Kingdom Cheerleading Association (UKCA) began working in partnership so that now Cheerleading is a discipline within Gymnastics. Basingstoke Gymnastic Club has already qualified some of its coaches to coach Cheerleading and is now offering exciting, new classes for children aged between 4 and 12 years old.

Cheerleading is dynamic and fast, incorporating jumps, tumbles, dance and stunts, not forgetting the cheers, chants and pom-poms - so it is great for those looking for some physically-demanding moves, eventually progressing to more acrobatic routines.
