What is Family Fun?
Your whole family.
Our whole gym.
Every Saturday evening, BGC opens its full competition-grade gymnasium to families. Children aged 1–11 can explore and enjoy every piece of equipment (from the spring floor and trampolines to vault, bars, and balance beams) all within a safe, supervised environment.
Parents come in free. You're not a spectator behind glass; you're in the room with your children, sharing the experience, watching them try things that will surprise you. BGC coaches are on the floor throughout, supervising the space and keeping everyone safe.
There's no structured coaching, no routines to follow, no pressure. Just your family, 90 minutes, and the best playground in Hampshire.

Your Saturday evening
Arrive. Explore.
Leave smiling.
Arrive & Sign In
Doors open at 4:15pm for booking. Check in at reception, sign the session register and you're in. Bring socks; they're required in the gym for everyone.
Explore the Gym
The full gym is open. Children try what they want, at their own pace. BGC coaches are on the floor throughout, supervising, helping when asked, and keeping the session safe for everyone.
Head Home Happy
At 6pm the session closes. Children leave with tired legs, big grins and (if yours are anything like most) already asking when they can come back.
Keeping everyone safe
Simple rules.
Big smiles.
Family Fun is an open session, not a coached class. BGC coaches supervise the space, but parents are responsible for their children at all times. These simple rules make the session safe and enjoyable for every family in the gym.
No crossing the tracks
The tumbling track and run-ups must never be crossed while another child is using them. Always wait at the side and cross only when clear.
One at a time on trampolines
Only one child on each trampoline at a time. Take turns, cheer each other on, and wait for a clear signal before climbing on.
Be aware of those around you
The gym is shared; look before you move, land, or roll. Be kind, take turns, and give others the space they need to enjoy their session.
Parents stay with their children
BGC coaches are supervising the session, not providing individual coaching. You are responsible for your child at all times. Stay active, stay present, and enjoy it with them.
Hair up, jewellery off
Long hair must be tied up and all jewellery removed before entering the gym; including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and watches. This applies to children and parents alike.
Socks on trampolines & suitable clothing
Socks must be worn on the trampolines at all times. Please wear comfortable sportswear suitable for activity; no jeans, zips, or hard footwear on the equipment.
