Assistant Head of General Gymnastics

We have an exciting opportunity available for a coach to take on the role of Assistant Head of General Gymnastics to work alongside our growing team of passionate and dedicated coaches. This role will involve delivering fun and dynamic sessions to a wide range of ages and abilities. Basingstoke Gymnastics is a GymMark accredited club with 1000 members, operating in a dedicated facility in Basingstoke, Hampshire. The Club provides gymnastics training from pre-school to adult, including disability gymnastics. We are diverse in being one of the largest clubs in the south offering 10 different disciplines, a unique offering to create fantastic opportunities for all. 

The successful candidate will need to have a BG qualification level 3 in either General Gymnastics, WAG or MAG (Level 2 considered) , must be reliable, available and well organised. Experienced in leading classes, managing and inspiring staff and customer service is essential. Knowledge in system management, data entry is also required. Additional BG qualifications such as Pre-School and disabilities are desirable.

Full-time role, salary variable dependent upon experience and qualification, plus employer’s pension scheme.  Holiday entitlement – 20 days plus bank holidays.

Community Coach – Part-Time
(scope to develop to full-time position) 

Are you passionate about getting everyone involved and having the opportunity to do gymnastics? We are looking for that enthusiastic, sociable, fun character with the willingness to drive forward gymnastics for the local community from the youngest to oldest of participants, people from all walks of life including the development of our disabilities and schools gymnastics.

We are looking for a minimum of Level 2 coach in General Gymnastics, WAG or MAG (British Gymnastics).

We are looking for qualified coaches at level 1 or 2 in any discipline to join the coaching team to add depth and knowledge to the current classes and squads.

In addition we are looking for volunteers or anyone interested in training to become a coach. The club will offer support and mentoring throughout. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals who will follow our philosophy.
