The Club will temporarily close from 24th December at 4pm

Following the government tier 4 announcement today (23rd December), the club will close from 24th December at 4pm. The club remains open today and tomorrow, following the current squad Christmas training timetable.

You should now have an email with an attached Member Update Letter, outlining all details relating to the tier 4 closure, including the squad members zooms sessions throughout the Christmas period and the weekly zoom session schedule, which will commence from 4th January if tier 4 restrictions carry on into the New Year, if you have not received this or have any questions please contact us on membership@basingstokegym.co.uk

Thank you to all our members for your patience and support during these challenging times.

A big thank you to our coaching team, staff and volunteers for your continued hard work with our safe return to gymnastics in December.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back again as soon as the tier 4 restrictions are lifted!

Meet the Welfare Team!

Dear Parents and Carers,

The welfare of our gymnasts is of key importance to Basingstoke Gymnastics Club. We are aware that parents might not know that the Welfare Team exists and is part of the overall club structure.

During Lockdown, we have taken the opportunity to expand and evolve the Welfare Team. Today we are writing to you to introduce the Welfare Team and give you an overview of what we do and what our purpose is. The Welfare team is a group of trained volunteers who work with the club to help ensure that all children and vulnerable adults are safe. All Officers have undergone a full DBS check and have attended courses on safeguarding children in sport.

The Welfare Team are available should you have any questions at welfare@basingstoke-gym.co.uk.

The Club will temporarily close from Wednesday 4th November at 9pm

Despite all of our hopes to the contrary, we are having to temporarily close on Thursday 5th November, due to the enforced national lockdown. All classes will run today as usual.

Please see the attached Member Update Letter, outlining all details relating to the closure.

To support our members during this time we have put together a weekly zoom session schedule to keep all gymnasts engaged and active. Please see the attached schedule.

If you do have any questions please contact us on membership@basingstokegym.co.uk
