What is it?

Our biggest event of the year

The BGC Club Festival is our annual in-house competition, a vibrant two-day weekend where the whole club comes together. Gymnasts from preschool right through to our advanced squads take part in a fun, supportive atmosphere designed to build confidence, celebrate progress, and give everyone a taste of performing.

It's not a serious competitive selection event; it's a celebration. Families fill the stands, coaches cheer from the sidelines, and every gymnast walks away with a medal and certificate. The Cartwheel Café is open throughout, and our Community Hub volunteers run stalls, games, and fundraising activities across both days.

Dates are confirmed at the start of each season and published on the club calendar. Registration opens a few weeks before; keep an eye on your emails and our social channels.

Got questions?

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about taking part or coming to watch.

Can my child compete in more than one discipline?

Yes, gymnasts can enter multiple disciplines if they train in more than one. Entry fees apply per event entered. Your coach will advise on what's appropriate for your child's level.

How do I register my child?

Registration opens a few weeks before the event and is announced via email and our social media channels. Details are also posted on the club calendar. You can register your interest using the button on this page and we'll make sure you're notified as soon as registration opens.

Is it suitable for beginners and younger children?

Absolutely. Preschool and beginner recreational gymnasts are a big part of the event. Categories are arranged by level and age so every gymnast competes fairly. For many of our younger gymnasts, this is their very first experience of performing in front of an audience, and it's a wonderful one.

How long will the event run each day?

The event starts from 8:00am each day and typically runs through to the early evening. Specific session times for each category are published when registration opens. Most families find it's a full day out, especially with the café and stalls on site.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, parking is available at the venue. A parking map is distributed with joining instructions when registration opens. We recommend arriving a little early on busy days as spaces can fill up.

Do I need to stay for the whole day?

Not at all. Your gymnast will be assigned a session time and you're welcome to arrive for their session and leave once it's complete. Many families choose to stay longer to enjoy the atmosphere, watch other gymnasts, and support the café and stalls.

More than gymnastics

The full festival experience

The Club Festival is as much about community as it is about sport; here's everything else happening across the weekend.

Cartwheel Café

Volunteer-run and always brilliant. Hot drinks, snacks, and light lunches throughout both days. All profits go directly back into the club to fund equipment and development.

Community Hub

Our amazing Hub volunteers run stalls, games, a raffle, and tombola alongside the competition. A fantastic way to get involved and raise money for club projects.

Professional photography

Capture the moment. Our official photographers are on site throughout the weekend. Photos are available to families after the event, a brilliant keepsake for every gymnast.
