The Candy Cane Carnival is our festive family event at Basingstoke Gymnastics Club — packed with activities, treats, and Christmas magic! Choose from our Meet Santa Experience or Family Fun session, or enjoy both for a full festive day.
Each child enjoys a 5-minute visit inside Santa’s twinkling grotto, receives a special gift, and meets Santa one-to-one.
Please note: this is a timed experience, so families should arrive at least 10 minutes early for their slot.
Family Fun includes access to:
• Character Meet & Greet
• Arts & Crafts Corner
• Glitter Tattoos & Face Painting
• Gymnastics Play Zone
• Candy Cane Café (festive treats & hot chocolate!)
This session does not include a Santa visit — you’ll need a separate ticket if you’d like to meet Santa.
Both the Meet Santa Experience and Family Fun sessions run on Saturday 29th of November 2025:
• 4:30pm – 5:45pm
• 6:00pm – 7:15pm
You can attend either session — or both!

• Family Fun: £12 per child
• Combined Ticket: £22 (for both experiences)
Yes! Please complete the booking process for each child individually so we can allocate time slots and gifts correctly.
Of course! You’re welcome to take photos during your child’s visit. Please be mindful of other families waiting and avoid photographing other children.

Yes! Our Candy Cane Café will be open throughout the event, serving festive treats, hot chocolate, and snacks for the whole family to enjoy while you soak up the carnival atmosphere.
Community Hub
At our upcoming Community Hub Candy Cane Carnival, our amazing team of volunteer parents will be leading a variety of fundraising activities to make the event both magical and meaningful. Their dedication and energy are at the heart of this festive celebration — from running stalls and games to spreading holiday cheer, they’re helping to create a warm, community-driven atmosphere.

Meet Santa
Step into the magic of Christmas and meet Santa himself! Children can share their festive wishes, take a photo with the big man in red, and receive a special Christmas treat to remember the moment. A heart-warming experience for the whole family — don’t forget your camera!
Arts and Crafts
Get creative at our festive craft corner! From glitter tattoos and face painting to Christmas colouring and sparkly decorations, there’s something for every child to enjoy. Let imaginations shine and take home a little piece of Christmas magic you made yourself!
